About Us

What is the Society of St Vincent de Paul?

A Catholic lay organization that helps those in need. We grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to people in need, because we see “the face of Christ” in those we serve, as Jesus taught us when he said, “whatever you do to the least of my brothers and sisters you do to me.”

An international organization inspired by the charitable works of St Vincent de Paul, founded in 1833 and now located in 149 countries. In the United States, the Society has about 100,000 members.
